Baumgartners Leadership Transition: Aaron Fitchett appointed Managing Partner
Melbourne, Australia — Baumgartners, a leading full-service accounting, tax, audit and advisory firm headquartered in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs proudly announces the appointment of Aaron Fitchett as its new Managing Partner, effective 1 July 2025.
Aaron succeeds David Baumgartner, who is stepping down though remaining active in the firm, after more than four decades leading the 10-partner, AFR Top 100 firm.
Since joining the firm in 2012, Aaron has demonstrated a deep commitment to innovation, strategic growth, client-focused service, and technical excellence across a range of areas. His broad experience in professional services, specialising in mid-market businesses and high-wealth private clients, and proven ability to lead through change make him exceptionally well-positioned to guide the firm into its next era.
“David’s leadership has shaped the firm’s reputation for integrity, excellence, and collaboration,” said Aaron. “It’s an honour to follow in his footsteps and, alongside my fellow partners and more than 60 incredible colleagues, continue building on the legacy he has so strongly established.”
