Aaron Fitchett appointed Managing Partner of Baumgartners

Baumgartners, a leading full-service accounting, tax, audit and advisory firm headquartered in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs proudly announces the appointment of Aaron Fitchett as its new Managing Partner, effective 1 July 2025.

Aaron succeeds David Baumgartner, who is stepping down though remaining active in the firm, after more than four decades leading the 10-partner, AFR Top 100 firm.

Since joining the firm in 2012, Aaron has demonstrated a deep commitment to innovation, strategic growth, client-focused service, and technical excellence across a range of areas. His broad experience in professional services, specialising in mid-market businesses and high-wealth private clients, and proven ability to lead through change make him exceptionally well-positioned to guide the firm into its next era.
