Baumgartners welcomes Chris Arch as Partner

Melbourne, Australia 27 July 2026 — Baumgartners, a leading full-service tax, accounting, audit and advisory firm based in Kew, Melbourne, is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Arch as Partner.

Chris brings more than 20 years’ experience advising privately owned businesses, high networth family groups and family offices on complex taxation and advisory matters. He joins Baumgartners following a career spanning senior leadership roles in public practice and industry, including experience with a leading mid-tier accounting firm across Perth and Melbourne, and more recently within a privately held investment group and family office environment.

A Chartered Accountant, Chartered Tax Adviser and holder of a Master in Tax from UNSW, Chris combines deep technical expertise with practical commercial insight. His experience across both advisory practice and industry gives him a clear understanding of the challenges faced by business owners, investors and family groups, enabling him to deliver advice that is technically rigorous, commercially grounded and tailored to each client’s objectives.

Chris advises on a broad range of taxation and advisory matters, including:

• Business structuring and restructuring;
• Succession and estate planning;
• Cross-border transactions;
• Acquisitions and disposals;
• Tax governance; and
• ATO review activities.

Throughout his career, he has worked with clients across abroad range of industries, with particular depth in the professional servicesand property sectors.

Having spent much of his professional career in Perth before relocating to Melbourne in 2024, Chris has built enduring relationships across the profession over more than two decades. His appointment further strengthens Baumgartners’ specialist tax and advisory offering for private clients, business owners, investors and family groups.
