Alex is a Chartered Accountant (CA) with over 15 years’ experience in senior leadership roles within the mid-tier accounting sector and leading international accounting firms. He has a wealth of business and tax experience having worked with complex business structures, large multinational corporates, high net worth family groups and his specialty, small to medium sized enterprises.
Alex first developed his accounting and tax expertise in Australian client facing roles before diversifying his skillset overseas. He spent 4 years at PwC in London as a Finance Manager advising internal clients on their finances, KPI’s, budgets, forecasts & business cases working with the CFO and Senior Partners of the firm.
Alex returned to Melbourne where he put his love of business advisory to work, gaining extensive consulting experience in tax advice, asset protection and a niche in business restructuring with a focus on superannuation and the important role good financial planning can play in a well-rounded investment portfolio.
Connecting with clients and understanding their goals – both financial and those more far reaching than just monetary – is what Alex enjoys most. He uses his diverse business experience to bring clients a fresh and informed approach to complicated Business and Tax issues. His tailored, values-driven and relationship-focused service helps ensure he builds lasting, meaningful relationships with clients.
At home, Alex and his wife Christine lead a busy life caring for two young children who are active in AusKick, swimming, ballet and being cheeky kids! Alex is also on the Kinder committee, so you might catch him on the local Bunnings BBQ from time to time raising much needed funds for the centre. He loves meeting new people, travelling and has his passport ready to go at any opportunity.
